Lester's Spring Rolls
Let's spring into fall with these delicious spring rolls! Packed with fresh local veggies, these spring rolls are sure to be a hit at your next family event!
Lester's Spring Rolls
Ingredients:
- 2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
- 2 LBS of Ground Pork
- 1 TSP Pepper
- 1 TSP Salt
- 1 Green Onion, Chopped
- 1 Garlic Scape, Chopped
- 2 Medium Beet, Shredded
- 4 Large Carrots, Shredded
- 6 Basil Leaves, Chopped
- 1 Pack of fresh Won Ton Wrappers
- 1/4 Cup Vegtable Oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Over Medium Heat, fry the Meat, salt, pepper, garlic, and garlic scape. until it is well cooked.
- Prepare the rest of the vegtables and place in a bowl. Mix the meat with it and let chill for 10 minutes.
- Lay out Won Ton Wrappers and fill with about 2 TBSP of Filling along the center. Wrap like a burrito (folding two side corners in and rolling the bottom to meet the top) and lay on a baking sheet.
- Repeat until filling is gone, or until you feel you have enough Spring Rolls (you can always freeze the filling to use for later!)
- Spray the rolls generously with oil and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
